Expoziţia conţine o serie de picturi şi bule de dialog ce dau vizitatorului senzaţia că răsfoieşte un roman grafic. Picturile detaliate, a căror compoziţie este de tip fluviu de conştiinţă, conţin mai puţin scris decât lucrările text; toate lucrările au o structură narativă la propriu şi la figurat, tematică ludică şi referenţială.
Majoritatea lucrărilor explorează felul în care cultura pop anglo-saxonă, de la guma de mestecat şi kryptonită la Cthulhu şi Buffalo Bill, devine parte din mitologia mea personală. De exemplu, Buffalo Bill was here se referă la Wild West European Tour, ce a inclus atât Timişoara cât şi Karlsruhe, dar şi la experienţa personală oarecum traumatizantă a lecturii poemului Buffalo Bill’s defunct de e.e. cummings la o vârstă fragedă.
Câteva dintre lucrări păstrează limba română şi contextul cultural de referinţă, cum ar fi Post Jigărăi şi textul cu George Stavropoleos, în timp ce lucrarea intitulată Schon Gut funcţionează ca un punct lingvistic de legătură. Punctul de legătură dintre mine şi vizitator, sub aspect lingvistic, este folosirea limbii engleze, străină amândurora, de unde şi mesajul uneia dintre lucrări “te rog tradu”.

The show contains an ensemble of painted works and dialogue bubbles, giving the viewer the feeling that he or she browses through a graphic novel. The highly detailed paintings, whose composition is a stream of consciousness, contain less writing than the text works; all works have a visible narrative structure, are whimsical themed and highly referential.
Most the works explore the way in which the Anglo-Saxon pop culture, from chewing gum and kryptonite to Cthulhu and Buffalo Bill, becomes a part of the my personal mythology. For instance, Buffalo Bill was here refers to Wild West European Tour which included both Timisoara and Karlsruhe, but it also dwells on the somewhat traumatic personal experience of reading e.e. cummings’ poem Buffalo Bill’s defunct at a very young age.
A few works preserve the Romanian language and cultural frame of reference, such as Post Jigarai (After Heartburn) and the text of George Stavropoleos, while one work entitled Schon Gut functions as a language bridge. The middle ground between me and the viewer, in terms of language, is the usage of English, native to neither, hence the message of one of the works to “please translate”.
