Asta e o scenă domestică, imediat după ce a venit poșta. Tensiunea din aer crește până când personajul din stânga întreabă ce zice? dar vântul îi suflă cuvintele aiurea. Trist, pe bune 🙂
E prima mea lucrare de mari dimensiuni, pe pânză, unde folosesc geluri colorate și markere permanente, așa că am bătut câmpii, adăugând tot mai multe detalii. Ce-mi place la ea este felul în care părțile fluorescente (partea superioară a picioarelor și monstrul în speță) fac lucrarea să arate foarte diferit în lumina naturală față de cea artificială, efect ce nu poate fi reprodus digital. Asta e 🙂

This is a domestic scene, just after the mail has arrived. The tension in the air is thickening as the person on the left finally asks what does it say? but the wind blows the words away. Sad really 😛
It’s my first large work on canvas using colored gels and permanent markers, so I went wild, adding more and more details. What I like about it is how the fluorescent parts (the upper part of the legs and especially the monster) make it look so different in natural vs artificial light, but they are also impossible to reproduce digitally. Oh well 🙂
