Asta se bazează pe un personaj din nuvela mea în curs de apariţie Îmbăsmăţirea Sultanului, o meta-naraţiune bazată pe O mie şi una de nopţi. Hicurai este un djinn foarte mic care spune o poveste înfricoşătoare despre cum a fost prins în gâtul unui alt djinn, fix atunci când ăla se transmuta. Scrisă invers e altă poveste, cea a morţii lui Hicurai sub privirile prietenului său Şeitan, chestii sumbre, dom’ne, îţi zic.
Nuvela este despre oameni care se transformă în poveşti, literalmente 🙂 Asta vine ca în schema de mai jos, în care tot mâlul roz-multicolor e halit de triunghiul ăla mare de sus 🙂

This one is based on a character from my upcoming novella Îmbăsmaţirea Sultanului, a meta-narrative based on the Arabian Nights. Hicurai is a very small djinn who’s telling some fierce story about being trapped inside another djinn’s throat at the time of her transmutation. Upside-down there’s another story, that of Hicurai’s death as it is witnessed by his friend Sheitan, really gloomy stuff man, I’m telling ya.
The novella is about people turning into stories, quite literally 🙂 and you can see how that might work with all the multicolored pink ooze being sucked by the big triangle in the upper middle 🙂
