Lucrarea a fost concepută pentru expoziţia Hârş, duo cu Horaţiu-Christian, (Atelier 030202, Bucureşti, 13.03-4.04.2014), unde toate lucrările, după ce au fost terminate, au fost acoperite cu un strat opac de vopsea gri pe care vizitatorii îl îndepărtau ei înşişi, ca de pe nişte lozuri răzuibile. La fel ca în cazul unei camere de aşteptare, într-un sistem eficient purgatoriul nu ar avea o funcţie reală. De aceea artistul propune să fie scos în afara legii, pentru că reprezintă un sistem birocratic corupt ce controlează oamenii ţinându-i în aşteptare la coadă. În această lucrare, prin răzuire, vizitatorul a avut acces imediat la câştig – paradisul.

The work was produced for the Scrath duo-show, with Horaţiu-Christian, (Atelier 030202, Bucharest, 13.03-4.04.2014), where all the works, upon finishing, were covered with an opaque layer of grey paint which the visitors removed themselves, as with some scratch and win tickets. Much like a waiting room, in an efficient system the purgatory will have no real function, which is why the artist proposes to have it outlawed, as it stands for a corrupt bureaucratic system which controls the people by keeping them waiting in line. In this work, through scratching, the visitor has got immediate access to the payoff – heaven.
